Hamzalı HEP Plant Commenced The Commercial Operation:

TURKON-MNG Electricity Generation and Trading Co. Inc. recently completed the construction of 17 MW capacity Hamzalı Hydroelectric Power Plant investment.

Trial operation of the Hamzalı Hydroelectric Plant was completed and commercial operation has commenced as of December 1, 2008.

Yerköy-Yozgat-Sivas Railway Construction Contract Was Signed:

Yerköy-Yozgat-Sivas Railway Project Infrastructure Works Construction Contract was signed on 05.11.2008 by the Joint Venture consisted of Cengiz, Limak, Kolin, China Major Bridge Eng. Co. Ltd and MAPA Construction and Trading Co. Inc. which is a member of the MNG Group of Companies.

The Works contracted to the Joint Venture formed by Cengiz - Limak - Kolin - China Major Bridge Eng. Co. Ltd and MAPA construction companies are expected to be completed by November 2011.
